Explanation
The 9 of Pentacles represents earned rest. The element Earth, attached to the Pentacles suit, appreciates the rest that completion of hard work brings. This is a good time for games and relaxation.

By all means take some well earned rest, so you get refreshed for the next leg of your journey.
Neutral
You're wonderfully content with the work you've done so far. Now it's time for some well earned relaxation. This card could point to a holiday or vacation abroad, or bring the idea of taking such leisure to the forefront.
Negative
Even though you might feel a bit tired, now is not the time to rest. The situation likely requires that you keep on working. Take enough short breaks though, to avoid exhaustion and to stay on the right course in your project.
The Moon
Explanation
The Moon has been looked in all ways during our history. It has been both revered and dispised.
Where the sun ruled the day, the moon ruled the night. Those who knew the lunar cycles knew when they needed to seed and when they needed to harvest.
Place in the cycle
The Moon carries the number 18, composed that is 9. This composed number is the number of completion, of achievement.
The Hermit, also a 9, closed off the upperworld. The Moon closes the underworld.
You've faced a lot in the underworld, your own fears not least of them. Now it is time to crawl back up to securities and comfort, but there's work to be done before you're there.

If you want to achieve a high goal, you'll need to walk the middle ground between the swamps. You'll need to articulate to others where you want to go, and in telling them about your desires expose yourself somewhat.

You're busy with your feelings at the moment, re-finding your ideals and vocalizing your feelings despite that making your vulnerable. This is not the time to get stuck in the sea of your feelings, it is time to go onto shore and find the golden middle path toward hapiness.

Temperance
Explanation
Temperance is the third of four mideaval values, and the last mideaval value in the Tarot.
According to mideaval understanding this value is about reaching the golden middle ground in a field of opposites. Not too happy, not too angry, not too sad. In everything balance has to be achieved, extremes were not appreciated.
Place in the cycle
Temperance carries the number 14, composed that is 5.
5 is an assignment number, which indicates there's work to be done.
With Death, an important decision made with The Hanged Man was given shape by letting go of the old. Now you're in a transitionary period and this Temperance card is a place of rest during the journey through the underworld.
Meaning
Positive
Experiment, search for what you think will be good for you. Try everything and don't get discouraged when you don't immediately feel some gains. Know that chances don't come around every day and it's up to you to find and shape chances. You have got to work for it.

This transitionary period has it's downsides. You may feel you're making progress one moment, then falling back the next. But in the end, you are making progress even though at times you feel you're not. You are more careful and more of an adult when making your choices. You're more flexible, because you know there may be something unexpected just around the corner. You don't fully realize yet how far you've already come.

The 3 of Swords is about assertiveness.
Sometimes you just shouldn't ignore those others that do you harm (conciously or not). Sometimes you should face them and force them to respect you.

Now is definately the time to get more assertive with someone who's probably testing you for a while now. Some people just won't quit until you tell them to, so you'd better tell them quite early.

You've cropped up your feelings for too long, and you feel like telling someone who's been testing you the full truth today. Probably not a bad idea to show them you've had enough.
Negative
Don't be too vigorous in your complaints to others right now. Either the time is not right, or you're planning to bark up the wrong tree.
The Emperor
Explanation
Like The Empress, this card indicates power. But instead of spiritual power, this card indicates materialistic, worldly power. The Emperor is sometimes compared to Mars, God of war and courage.
Place in the cycle
The Emperor has the number 4 attached to it. This is the number of order and structure, the number of matter; with 4 things can be built and organized.
There are 4 seasons, 4 elements, 4 wind directions. The number gives stability and orginanisation and discipline and a steady strength to get done what needs to get done.
The number 1 brings the idea, the number 4 takes it on. This also means that with this number 4 things can be decided one way or another.
While the previous card, The Empress, indicates a time to relax and enjoy, with this card it is time to get things underway and for the work to commence.

Of all the things that are heading your way you must pick just a few or even just one to focus on. Get your goals into focus and stick to your goals. Be careful not to get distracted.

This card falls in a time when you're busy and facing challenges. This means there is a lot to do and a large need to organise and structure your activities.
You feel strong and full of energy, you have willpower and selfdiscipline and an ability to close yourself to distractions.

Don't be too rigid, you can't achieve your goals with just strength, often wisdom and knowledge are needed as well.
10 of Pentacles
Explanation
The 10 of Pentacles represents material posessions. The number 10 of Pentacles forms the links to the Ace (first card) of Wands (the first suit in the minor Arcana), and thus prepares to bring you back to the beginning of the minor Arcana, ready for a next cycle through the tarot.

Let your recent work or success increase your self-esteem and self-confidence, but not so much that you become arrogant or lazy.

Success has smiled upon you recently, and you radiate it at least somewhat to the world around you, where some other people might notice on your self-confidence and get interested by it and what you're doing to get in such a state. These people might in turn be willing and able to help you further along your path to your ideal.

What you're doing and what you've achieved can sometimes actually sneekingly become a hinderance to you, because you cling to those achievements and think you've completed your ideal, while in reality you're not completely there yet. So don't become lazy, take the relexation that your previous achievements bring and combine it with alertness to make the next steps to fulfillment of your ideal.
5 of Wands
Explanation
The 5 of Wands represents competition. The 5 is the second assignment number, and therefore a difficult card. 5 combined with the Wand's element fire challenges you. You'll have to fight hard for your idea, but you stand a good chance of succeeding.

Overcome your fears of rejection and failure. Fight for the realisation of your dreams. Don't be afraid to confront yourself either, so you can discover what you're worth. This card is more about the fighting than the winning.

An important wish of yours is getting closer to being realized. This may scare you somewhat, because in your dreams you were able to make it as beautiful as you want, while reality doesn't always give you exactly what you want.
Negative
Now is not the time to fight, now is the time to evade. Choose a safe way to come closer to realisation of your dreams and ideas.
2 of Pentacles
Explanation
The 2 of Pentacles is an assignment number card, and the assignment here is to maintain a happy and relaxed attitude during a wait for results of what you started.
Meaning
Positive
You might be able to do some preliminary work while you wait. Try to relax a bit as well.
Neutral
You've started something that now practically requires you to wait a bit for results to come in. This gives you the chance to relax, and to do some final polishing as well.
Negative
You don't actually have to wait for results right now, you can proceed with your efforts, perhaps from a different angle.
